A man has been arrested in connection with a Christmas Day shooting in east Louisville that left his roommate in the hospital.
According to arrest documents, 20-year-old Angel Guerrero and his roommate were at home on December 25, 2025, when Guerrero allegedly was showing off his handgun while intoxicated and fired the gun in an unknown direction. The suspect then fired additional rounds at the victim, hitting him in the arm and chest.
Guerrero is accused of then fleeing the scene before police arrived.
LMPD arrested Guerrero on Sunday, January 4, for assault. He is lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
