
A wanted man was captured after a pursuit with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.
The sheriff’s office received a flock camera notification on 42-year-old Christopher Bell, who was wanted for a parole warrant on drug charges. He was located on 700 block of Dennis Road.
After a deputy executed a traffic stop, Bell drove through a yard toward Stevenson Mill Road onto US 68-80 east at a high speed.
After crossing the intersection, he eventually pulled over near Champion Pet Foods and surrendered without incident.
During the arrest, law enforcement found two clear baggies with suspected methamphetamine inside his vehicle. After being medically cleared at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Bell was taken to the Logan County Detention Center.
He was charged with the following:
Speeding 26 mph or > speed limit
Reckless driving
Careless driving
Wanton endangerment-2nd degree-police officer
Possession of a controlled substance
1st degree, 3rd or > offense (methamphetamine)
Drug paraphernalia – buy/possess
Wanton endangerment-2nd degree
Disregarding a stop sign
Fleeing or evading police
1st degree (motor vehicle) and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance.
