
A death investigation is underway after a child was found dead inside a residence in Louisville, according to police.
Louisville police said around 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, January 25, officers were called to assist EMS in the 6100 block of Athens Drive. Inside the address, first responders found a boy, believed to be four years old, who was unresponsive.
Louisville Metro Police said despite EMS performing life-saving measures, the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating. No foul play is expected.
