A man is in jail in connection to a shooting in the St. Denis neighborhood that sent two to the hospital.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting in Modern Way near Cane Run Road and Farnsley Road Tuesday, February 3. On the scene, they found a man who had been shot in the leg. A short time later, police said a woman who had been shot in the shoulder arrived at the hospital and is believed to be have been involved in the same incident.
Wednesday, Louisville Metro Police Department announced the arrest of 21-year-old Jiantanez Rutledge in connection to the shooting. He has been charged with three counts of robbery.
Rutledge is being held in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and is due in court Thursday, February 5. Louisville Metro Police Department said that the investigation remains open and active.
