Louisville Metro Police have announced an arrest in a non-fatal shooting that occurred last December.
According to a release from the department, 33 year-old Rayvonte Humphries was arrested Wednesday in connection with the incident that occurred on December 16, 2025, in the 2300 block of W. Market Street in LMPD’s First Division. The shooting occurred outside Lorrie’s Liquors.
A man in his 40s suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach.
The arrest came after a public plea from the department asking for help identifying a man from surveillance video.
Humphries was lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and has been charged with Assault 1st degree and Wanton Endangerment 1st degree.
