
A man being investigated for a December officer-involved shooting and carjacking in Louisville has now been indicted in connection with an October homicide in Jeffersontown.
According to Jeffersontown Police, 36-year-old Winthrop Taylor was indicted on Wednesday, February 18, in the shooting death of Airrice Clayton on Arbor Pointe Drive in October of 2025.
Jeffersontown Police Department says Taylor was also indicted on possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property, operating on a suspended license, criminal possession of a forged instrument, assault and wanton endangerment.
Winthrop is also being investigated by Louisville Metro Police Department in connection with an officer-involved shooting that started with a carjacking in December.
