Kentucky State Police Post 3 began a death investigation at 334 Stamps Road in Allen County just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18.
As the investigation evolved, it was learned that a 12-year-old male juvenile and an adult female, identified as 42 year-old Traci Trasky, were found deceased at the residence. It was further learned that Trasky’s vehicle was missing from the residence.
A short time later, the missing vehicle was located unoccupied on Pleasant Field Church Road in Allen County. With the assistance of the Allen County Sheriff’s Department and the Scottsville Police Department, and their drone, a subject was observed in proximity, running through a wooded area. After a short foot pursuit through the wooded area, a 17-year-old male juvenile was taken into custody without incident.
After further investigation and multiple interviews, this same juvenile was arrested and charged with Murder (2 counts), Tampering with Physical Evidence, TBUT- Auto, and Fleeing or Evading Police 1st (On Foot).
The investigation continues by Kentucky State Police Investigative Personnel.
