A woman is dead after being ejected from her car during a rollover crash on I-265 East Saturday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers responded to a call at around 6:15 p.m. of a crash that took place between Dixie Highway and Stonestreet on I-265 on February 21.
Initial investigation revealed that a woman was driving eastbound on the interstate when she lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason, causing her to drive off the roadway and into the center median, where the vehicle then rolled over.
Police said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
On Sunday, February 22, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as 31-year-old Kristen Mohr.
All eastbound lanes were closed for several hours following the incident.
