A Mt. Washington man is charged with murder after police said he killed a woman using an ax.
According to jail records, 67-year-old Richard Chesher was booked into the Bullitt County jail around 3:45 a.m. Saturday where was charged with murder-domestic violence, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
Mt. Washington Police said it “appears an ax” was used in the woman’s murder. Police have not shared any other details, but said there is no threat to the public.
