Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot in the Highlands early Saturday.
Officers responded to a call at 3:26 a.m. of a shooting in the 1000 block of Bardstown Road on Saturday, March 7.
At the scene, police were told that the victim, an adult male, had already been taken to UofL Hospital by private means.
According to officials, the victim was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.
