
A crash on Interstate 24 in Christian County left multiple people injured on Saturday afternoon.
According to a news release, three vehicles collided at the Fort Campbell Boulevard exit and caused one of them to overturn.
Five people were taken to the hospital, according to to the release. Three people were taken to Vanderbilt Health in Clarksville, Tennessee. A fourth person was flown to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
One woman had to be revived twice and was given CPR. Officials were able to stabilize her and take her to Vanderbilt Health in Clarksville, but eventually she was flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment.
Officials said the injuries are serious, but that no one has died as a result of the crash.
Eastbound lanes of I-24 was closed for several hours as the crash was investigated.
