Bowling Green Police arrested a Tennessee man following an investigation into a reported scam at a local business.
Shamarkius M. Oldham, 26, of Clarksville, Tennessee is accused of using a cell phone application to generate a fictitious coupon, allowing him to purchase more than $400 worth of merchandise for less than $50.
Police say he then allegedly traveled to a different store location and returned the items, receiving a refund for the full retail value.
Oldham was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and is charged with Misuse of Computer Information and Theft by Unlawful Taking.
