
A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Old Louisville that happened on Wednesday, April 15, according to Louisville Metro Police Department.
Louisville Metro Police responded to the 800 block of South 4th Street on a report of a shooting just before 11:30 p.m.
Officers arrived and found a man who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police also found a woman in the apartment who had been assaulted. She was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to live.
On Friday, April 17, police arrested 36-year-old Christopher Lewis. He is charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Lewis was also served with two unrelated warrants.
Lewis was lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
