A man is dead after a shooting in the Parkland neighborhood Friday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson Dwight Mitchell.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3200 block of West Kentucky Street around 5:40 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot multiple times. Officials said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are no known suspects at this time. LMPD’s Homicide Unit is handling the ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD.
