
A man was arrested on Saturday in connection with a possible road rage shooting that happened earlier in the day.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 9800 block of Blue Lick Road around 11:25 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man who appeared to have been shot in a road rage incident, according to LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell.
Officials said the man was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive.
Just after 9 p.m., Louisville Metro Police Department announced that 25-year-old Daejon Horton had been arrested in connection with the shooting.
According to the arrest citation, Horton admitted to driving the suspected vehicle that was identified through FLOCK.
Horton is charged with Fleeing or Evading Police, 3rd Degree; Assault 1st Degree and Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree. He is scheduled to appear for his arraignment on Monday, May 4.
