
A 28-year-old Louisville man is in jail, charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor under 12.
Louisville Metro Police arrested Jacob Snell after a cybertip was submitted by Google, citing that a Gmail address downloaded 172 images of children under 12 to Google Photos. After officers got a search warrant, they found the email belonged to Snell.
Snell admitted to having the email account during an interview with Louisville Metro Police. He was also asked about the pictures.
The arrest citation says that is when he stopped answering investigators’ questions.
