A 14-year-old juvenile has been taken into custody in connection with a shooting that left a teenager in critical condition.
Shively Police responded to a call at around 5:06 p.m. of a shooting in the 2900 block of Dixie Highway on Thursday, May 7.
At the scene, officers found a victim described as being in his late teens who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and is said to be in critical condition.
Within minutes of the shooting, the juvenile male was taken into custody and charged with Assault 1st Degree.
