Police have made an arrest after a strong-arm robbery at the O’Reilly Auto Parts on Preston Highway on May 3.
Officers say 35 year-old Jessica Vorbrink attempted to steal motor oil from the store. When she was confronted by an employee, she “forcefully pushed” them before leaving the business.
The employee gave Louisville Metro Police officers a description of Vorbrink’s vehicle. Being familiar with the area and using store surveillance, they were able to identify her.
LOuisville Police was able to locate Vorbrink by using Flock and camera systems. They found her vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
Vorbrink, who also had multiple outstanding warrants, was taken into custody. A passenger inside the vehicle with Vorbrink was also arrested for outstanding warrants.
Vorbrink is charged with second-degree robbery and currently booked in Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
