The Kentucky State Police Post 03 in Bowling Green received information leading to the arrest of 51 year-old Scotty Deel, of Bowling Green.
After a preliminary investigation, a search warrant was obtained for Deel’s residence, which resulted in the seizure of a total of 106 Marijuana plants, paraphernalia, a digital scale, and multiple firearms.
Deel was arrested in Barren County, where Methamphetamine and a handgun were located in his possession.
Deel was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and was charged in both Warren and Barren Counties.
In Warren County. Deel was charged with Cultivate in Marijuana (5 plants or more) 1st offense(enhancement); Possession of drug paraphernalia and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon (enhancement).
In Barren County, Deel is charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (enhancement).
The investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
