A road rage confrontation ended with a man arrested Friday morning after police say he fired shots at another driver.
Shortly before 7:30 a.m., Florence Police responded to a reported road rage incident in the area of Dixie Highway and Industrial Road, according to a news release.
As officers were responding to the scene, dispatchers updated them that one of the parties had allegedly attempted to shoot the other.
The incident began near Turkeyfoot Road, where authorities say the two drivers became upset over each other’s driving. The confrontation moved west on Industrial Road into Florence.
Devin Holston, 31, allegedly shot at the other person near the intersection of Dixie Highway and Industrial Road, according to police.
Authorities say no one was injured in the incident.
Holston was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment. He was taken to the Boone County Jail, according to police.
