A man is dead after being trapped under a tree in Iroquois Park, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers responded to a call at around 7:09 p.m. to assist EMS at Iroquois Park on Rundill Road on Saturday, May 23.
At the scene, police learned that the caller had found a cyclist trapped under a large tree near the Iroquois Golf Course. The caller told police that he was unable to move the tree off the man, who was declared dead at the scene.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is actively conducting a death investigation.
