
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the cyclist who was killed after being trapped under a fallen tree.
Louisville Metro Police said officers responded to Iroquois Park on Rundill Road to help EMS on a call Saturday a little after 7 p.m.
The department said the 911 caller found a male cyclist under a large tree near the park’s golf course, and was unable to remove the tree off the man. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The coroner identified the cyclist as 62-year-old Clifford Goldsmith.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation.
