Five armed robbery suspects were stopped by police while trying to flee into southern Indiana.
Police said the suspects, who are all juveniles, allegedly robbed a vendor at gunpoint before fleeing north on the Big Four Bridge on Monday.
In a social media post, the Jeffersonville Police Department said officers assigned to the Big Four Station Park intercepted the five suspects before they were able to fully cross into southern Indiana.
The suspects were turned over to the Louisville Metro Police Department and charged with the appropriate robbery offenses, police added.
Details about the juvenile suspects, including their ages and charges, were not released.
