According to the Hopkinsville Police Department, a suspect has been taken into custody in connection with a deadly shooting on Wednesday in Hopkinsville.
On Wednesday, Hopkinsville Police said officers responded to a shooting scene in the area of Walnut Street and E. 12th Street around 12:20 p.m.
During the shooting, 19 year-old Jordan Jones was shot in the chest and later died of his injuries.
The suspect’s name has not yet been released to the public.
