A man has been hospitalized after being shot in Louisville’s Algonquin neighborhood Friday evening.
According to Louisville Metro Police, at 9:40 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1200 block of W. Hill Street.
When officers arrived, they did not find anyone at the residence. Officers were advised a short time later that the individual who was shot arrived at UofL hospital by private means.
According to Louisville Metro Police Department, a man sustained non-life-threatening injuries. There are no known suspects at this time.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading the investigation.
