The Kentucky State Police Post 03 received a call from the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office around noon Saturday (05/30) about a possible death at the Dog Creek Recreation area.
Troopers responded to the scene and located an unconscious female, later identified as 43 year-old Edith Vaughn, of Cub Run, lying in a green tent. The Hart County Coroner responded and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
