
Warren County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man accused of driving under the influence of alcohol in a deadly Memorial Day crash.
The incident happened May 25, 2026 on the 500 Block of Girkin Road around 5:30p.m.
According to investigators, the car was heading south when it left to road and hit a tree. The driver, Onrico Wilson, and front passenger, Robert Wilson, were entrapped in the vehicle. Both were flown to hospitals for treatment.
Investigators said Robert Wilson died from his injuries.
However, 39 year-old Onrico Wilson, was arrested June 3, 2026, after he was released from the hospital and faces several charges.
Three others who were in the car were also taken to area hospitals for injuries.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. Onrico Wilson is facing the following charges:
Vehicular homicide when under the influence of alcohol
Assault in 1st Degree
Wanton Endangerment in 1st Degree
Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, second offense and aggravated circumstances.
Wilson is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail under a $250,000 cash bond.
