
tip led to the arrest of a woman and the seizure of 75 pounds of marijuana.
Detectives with the Bowling Green–Warren County Drug Task Force launched an investigation that uncovered information about 30 year-old Danielle M. Mensah.
Information revealed Mensah would be traveling by commercial aircraft to Louisville while transporting 75 pounds of high-potency marijuana destined for Bowling Green.
Investigators believe that she traveled from Oregon and arrived at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport on June 2.
Upon arriving in Louisville, she hired an Uber to transport her and the marijuana to Rodeo Lane in southwest Bowling Green.
At approximately 2:44 p.m. on June 2, detectives and Kentucky State Police arrested her without incident. They determined she has a history of trafficking marijuana in Portland, Oregon.
Law enforcement seized 75 pounds of marijuana that has an estimated street value of $150,000.
She was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana Over Five Pounds – Class D Felony (75 pounds).
Mensah was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and pending arraignment in Warren District Court. Her bond was set at $25,000 cash.
