
Louisville man accused of driving drunk into a TARC bus stop in Shively, hitting and killing two people was in court Thursday as prosecutors laid out their case against him.
Charges against Kevin Moore have been upgraded to two counts of murder plus driving under the influence as well as other charges.
The wreck happened on Memorial Day on Dixie Highway at Rockford Lane.
Thursday, a Shively Police officer testified that Moore ran a red light and wrecking into an Oldsmobile before hitting the bus stop.
Danielle Cordes died that night. Jasmine Hereford died days later. Seven others were hurt in the wreck.
Officer Alex Thomas said Moore admitted to being drunk and officers later found an empty bottle of tequila in his truck.
The judge ruled there was enough evidence to send the case to the grand jury for indictment. It will be heard the week of July 6.
