A man has died after a shooting near Shawnee Park in the Chickasaw neighborhood Saturday afternoon.
Metro Police responded to the area near 44th and West Broadway following reports of a shooting just before 4:30 p.m.
There, police found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police treated the victim until EMS arrived and transported him to UofL Hospital.
The man eventually died from his injuries, according to Louisville Metro Police Department.
The name of the man has not yet been released.
