Hopkins County, a Madisonville bar owner is accused of getting aggressive with police.
Police were called to a fight outside the Brick Bar on West Center Street.
Officers say when they arrived, they found a crowd outside the business.
Once they started to ask them to leave, police say the owner, 46 year-old Timothy Desoto of Madisonville, started yelling and cursing at patrons to leave.
When a police officer tried to arrest Desoto, he allegedly pulled away, assaulting the officer.
He is facing several charges including disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
He was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on June 22.
