$9.6 million, multi-year project to improve motorist safety along the KY 136 (Sebree-Hartford Road) corridor in Ohio County continues to advance.
Located near the McLean County line, the project will take another step forward next week with the planned closure of the Stillhouse Branch Bridge.
Beginning on Monday, June 15, crews plan to close the Stillhouse Branch Bridge (0.02 mile point) for 30-days.
The closure will allow for demolition and construction of a new box culvert bridge.
This project, which began in early 2025, includes the replacement of six bridges along this route in Ohio County including:
Stillhouse Branch (0.02 mile point)
Hanley Creek (1.07 mp)
Barnett Creek (3.4 mp)
Toms Branch (5.4 mp)
Little No Creek (5.7 mp)
No Creek (5.9 mp)
The final completion date for the entire project is October 2026.
