Louisville Metro Police are investigating a reported bank robbery on Preston Highway.
Police officers were called around 11:42 a.m. Friday to the PNC Bank in the 3000 block of Preston Highway on a holdup report. Investigators said an adult man entered the bank, demanded cash and left with an unknown amount of money.
Officers said the suspect fled in an unknown direction. LMPD’s Robbery Unit is handling the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous Crime Tip Hotline at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or submit a tip through LMPD’s online Crime Tip Portal. Police also asked anyone who was in the area and may have cellphone video or surveillance footage to share it through the portal or by calling police.
