
A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday afternoon after crashing into a car in Louisville’s Highland Park neighborhood.
Officers were dispatched around 1:55 p.m. on reports of a crash at the intersection of Old Park Road and Crittenden Drive, according to Louisville Metro Police.
The preliminary investigation shows a man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Crittenden Drive when he entered the intersection at Old Park Boulevard and crashed with a car pulling into the intersection.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. Police said the driver appeared to not have seen the motorcyclist.
No other vehicles were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
