A Louisville woman is facing felony charges after a reported robbery and assault inside a victim’s home, according to a Jefferson District Court case memo.
Court records show 37 year-old Brittany Johnson is charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree criminal mischief. The charges stem from an incident reported on May 10.
According to the complaint, the victim told police that Johnson entered his residence, demanded money, and began pushing and hitting him. The complaint states that televisions and hearing aids were damaged with estimated losses over $500, and that Johnson allegedly fled with the victim’s pants containing his wallet and keys before leaving for an address on Grand Avenue. Police said the victim later complained of back pain.
An arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 20, in Jefferson District Court.
