
Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a shooting in the Portland neighborhood left a man dead.
Officers responded to a call around 3:52 p.m. of a shooting in the area of 20th Street and Lytle Street on Friday, June 19.
The caller told police that they heard five gunshots and then saw a man fall off his motorcycle.
At the scene, officers found the victim in the middle of the road with a gunshot wound on his left side. He was declared dead at the scene.
No information regarding possible suspects or motive has been released at this time.
