Metro Police arrested 40-year-old Jose Hill on Friday, June 19, in connection with a fatal June 4 shooting in the Russell neighborhood.
In the early morning hours of June 4, Officers responded to the 2700 block of Elliott Avenue to find a man who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was later identified as 44-year-old Clinton Henderson.
Hill was lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and has been charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Hill was arraigned in court on Saturday, June 20. His bond is set at $500,000. He will appear in court next on June 30.
