in Ohio County say that a man is now in custody after a months-long sexual abuse investigation.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office says 36 year-old Jared Cox, of Hartford, was arrested on Monday, June 22. Authorities say the investigation began back in March of this year and Cox was arrested on an Ohio County Indictment Warrant.
He was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on the following charge of Sexual Abuse in the first First Degree with the victim being under the age of 12. He is being held on a $50,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 7.
