Two women have been arrested after an investigation into a Kentucky massage parlor.
On April 11, Kentucky State Police Post 2 Dispatch received an online crime tip alleging that Golden Phoenix Spa, in Oak Grove, was offering sexual services in exchange for money.
Following an investigation, detectives executed a search warrant at the business on June 19. During the search, detectives found items commonly associated with sexual activity inside the establishment.
According to the agency, two female employees were arrested and charged with Prostitution and Engaging in Organized Crime.
During the operation, one of the employees attempted to flee on foot from law enforcement and was subsequently apprehended. She was additionally charged with second-degree Fleeing or Evading Police.
A nude male customer was also located inside a room within the business. Kentucky State Police say he told investigators he had previously paid for a sexual act at the establishment.
Detectives also located items associated with sexual activity on his person, the customer was also arrested and charged.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
