Louisville Metro Police is conducting a death investigation after a body was found inside a dumpster Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a call of a body found in the 3400 block of Vogt Avenue around 6:05 a.m. on June 24. They arrived to find the body of a woman in a dumpster.
A spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police Department said there are no obvious signs of foul play, but the cause and manner of death will be determined by the Coroner’s Office.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation.
