Kentucky State Police officials say they are investigating a fatal crash that happened Sunday in Muhlenberg County.
Dispatch officials say just after midnight, first responders were called to a crash at Highway 431 North and Power Plant Drive.
That area sits between Island and South Carrollton within the county.
Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office and EMS responded to the scene.
Officials say a preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle operated by Whitney Duarte was traveling southbound on US-431 when the vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck operated by Kevin Latham with Joey Watkins as a passenger.
Duarte, Latham and Watkins were pronounced dead at the scene by the Muhlenberg County Coroner.
The investigation remains ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
