Police have made an arrest in connection with a non-fatal shooting reported earlier this year on Bardstown Road.
Louisville Metro Police Department’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit said the shooting happened March 7, 2026, in the 1000 block of Bardstown Road.
Police said detectives with LMPD’s Second Division Impact Unit arrested 29-year-old Dayron L. Coleman on Friday, July 3, on an active arrest warrant.
Coleman is charged with first-degree assault and violating an IPO, according to police. Louisville Metro Police Department said he also has additional active warrants. He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
Coleman is expected to have a pre-trial conference on August 12, 2026.
