Multiple Louisville Police officers were dispatched to a home at the 500 block of East Breckinridge street in connection with an active investigation.
At the location, 21-year-old Austin Lee Sheets was arrested.
Court records show Sheets is charged with first-degree robbery, being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, and first-degree wanton endangerment in connection with an alleged July 3 incident at Ali 4 Smoke Shop on Highland Avenue.
A citation alleges Sheets pointed a handgun at the clerk while demanding merchandise, then fled in a vehicle.
Sheets pleaded not guilty in his arraignment Friday, July 10, in Jefferson District Court.
Sheets was assigned a public defender and given a $25,000 cash bond with conditions including no firearms and no contact orders.
Separate court cases list Sheets as a fugitive from another state, and a waiver of extradition to Indiana.
His next hearing is scheduled for July 20.
