
A Madison County Grand Jury returned an indictment for the 19-year-old accused of shooting and killing two people inside of a Berea bank back in April.
Wednesday, Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman announced the indictment of 19-year-old Brailen Weaver. He is facing two counts of Murder (Capital Offense) and one count of Fleeing and Evading (Class C Felony).
On April 30, a masked man was seen walking inside of a US Bank in Berea. He then shot and killed two bank employees, 35-year-old Breanna Edwards and 42-year-old Brian Switzer.
Attorney General Coleman intends to seek the death penalty. Coleman stated that his indictment is separate from the ongoing federal case.
The Kentucky State Police investigated the case.
