A man is charged with stealing a Boy Scouts’ trailer near Fern Creek, according to Louisville Metro Police.
According to an arrest citation, 41-year-old Justin Portman is accused of taking a trailer from Boy Scouts Troop 56 in the 6700 block of Bardstown Road on Monday, June 15.
Louisville Metro Police Department said surveillance video of the incident shows Portman and an unnamed co-defendant taking the trailer. Portman was taken into custody on Monday, July 13, and is being charged with theft by unlawful taking.
Portman’s bond is set at $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, July 27.
