Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Monday around 11:00 p.m. in Monroe County.
According to the preliminary report, 18 year-old Garrett Tingle, of Tompkinsville, was driving a car on KY 63 when the car went off the road and overturned.
Investigators said his passenger, 18 year-old Lesly Chalchi-Gomez of Tompkinsville, was killed in the crash. Tingle was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
