
At least three people were rescued after a tornado in Grayson County caused damage as severe weather moved through parts of Kentucky.
The tornado reportedly touched down just before 5 p.m. in the Leitchfield, Broadford and Wax areas before moving into Hart County.
Grayson County Emergency Management reported at least 12 structures were damaged.
An official with Grayson County Emergency Mangagement said three people were injured and one of them with severe injuries. They were all transported to local hospitals.
The National Weather Service is expected to be in the area to survey damage and determine the tornado’s strength on Wednesday.
Tornadoes were also reported in Hart, Green, Owen and Adair counties.
