Louisville Metro Police announced it had seized illegal drugs during a traffic stop Thursday.
During a narcotics investigation, detectives conducted a stop that resulted in the seizure of a pound and a half of meth and over four ounces of psychedelic mushrooms. Police said the estimated street value of the haul is over $5,000 and that cases like this often lead investigators to larger operations, more arrests and bigger seizures.
Louisville Metro Police Department said since the investigation is ongoing, it cannot release any information on the individuals involved.
