A 16-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with a shooting in the Jacobs neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police Department.
The shooting happened on Wednesday, July 22, near the intersection of Georgetown Place and Liberty Bell Way around 11:30 p.m.
Detectives with LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit, with help from the Violent Crime Unit and Real Time Crime Center analysts, made the arrest on Thursday, July 23.
Officials said the 16-year-old has been charged with first-degree assault. The investigation remains ongoing.
