Two people are facing charges in connection to the death of a 1-year-old child that was found dead at a Scottsville home, according to a media release from the Scottsville Police Department.
After a joint investigation from the Scottsville Police Department and the Allen County Sherriff’s Office, Alexandrae Price and Deavan Williams were arrested and charged with Criminal Abuse and First Degree (Child 12 or Under).
The investigation led to evidence that showed the child was a victim of extreme neglect and was forced to live in dangerous and hazardous living conditions.
Scottsville Police Department said the investigation remains active and ongoing as they continue to look over evidence, including surveillance video, witness interviews and the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s report.. Additional criminal charges are anticipated as the investigation continues.
